Welcome to the Hope Street Markets Website! We are a design and art markets event held seasonally, that celebrate and bring independent designers to the forefront - we are not your average markets!
4th June 2008 - Web update
We have successfully rounded up our 4th Hope Street Markets.
The Autumn Markets weekend in May was a complete success and we raised
$2,741 for HopeStreet's Winter Appeal - which goes to support Sydney's Homeless.
For those that missed out, see our gallery for images of the markets.
For now we wish you all a great Winter, unfortunately we will not be
running a Winter market this year but you can expect to hear more news from
us in a couple of months with any new dates.

What do you make? Tell us about your product!
Candy hand creates jewellery with too cute mini sweets and meals that are attached to adjustable rings to fit all chubby fingers. The collection consists of delicious treats from pretzels to tacos, chocolate cake to hamburgers, apple pie to bacon and eggs. The treats are so detailed candy hand will leave you feeling dizzy with must-have deliriousness. Candy hand is almost "finger licking good".
What's your creative background, your day job and how did you start making things?
Trained in all things fashion, between Fashion Design and Fine Art studies, I developed an ardent interest in the creation of handmade objects. My days are absorbed in the label fine cloth as the creative young designer behind the womenswear label. Fine cloth will inspire anyone that looks for something breathing individuality, passion and old school sophistication.
What are the things you find most inspiring?
All things yummy.
Where is your workspace and what is it like?
Candy hand is created with love and care in a room with a desk where I assemble the pieces and send my sugar carvings soaring.

Hope Street Markets has a great vibe and attracts lolly loving people that candy hand treasures.
Where would you like your art/brand to be in the future??
In the midst of independent boutiques who embrace individuality and their sweet tooth.
