Welcome to the Hope Street Markets Website! We are a design and art markets event held seasonally, that celebrate and bring independent designers to the forefront - we are not your average markets!
4th June 2008 - Web update
We have successfully rounded up our 4th Hope Street Markets.
The Autumn Markets weekend in May was a complete success and we raised
$2,741 for HopeStreet's Winter Appeal - which goes to support Sydney's Homeless.
For those that missed out, see our gallery for images of the markets.
For now we wish you all a great Winter, unfortunately we will not be
running a Winter market this year but you can expect to hear more news from
us in a couple of months with any new dates.

What do you make? Tell us about your product!
Limedrop is a fashion label that captures the imagination and the spirit of possibilities. All our designs are made in Australia and range from men's and women's fashions to cherrywood jewellery. Very playful and bright.
What's your creative background, your day job and how did you start making things?
Limedrop began as a collaboration between Nathan and I, our strengths and passions are very similar so it made sense to start Limedrop. We both love creating things and have an attention to detail that is vital in fashion to stand apart.
I studied fashion design at QUT in Brisbane whereas Nathan studied marketing and management while coming from an engineering background. We have both worked on various creative projects working with fashion, photography, merchandising, visual design and product design.
Where is your workspace and what is it like?
Our studio is white and sprawling. It is the top level of a warehouse with a tin roof in Fitzroy and we endure the seasons. Hot, hot, hot and cold, cold, cold.
Why did you choose Hope Street Markets?
Beautiful creative environment to sell our clothes in and a great excuse to escape Melbourne for a weekend.
