Welcome to the Hope Street Markets Website! We are a design and art markets event held seasonally, that celebrate and bring independent designers to the forefront - we are not your average markets!
We have successfully rounded up our 4th Hope Street Markets.
The Autumn Markets weekend in May was a complete success and we raised
$2,741 for HopeStreet's Winter Appeal - which goes to support Sydney's Homeless.
For those that missed out, see our gallery for images of the markets.
For now we wish you all a great Winter, unfortunately we will not be
running a Winter market this year but you can expect to hear more news from
us in a couple of months with any new dates.
In the mean time keep connected with us via our mailing list.

Mam mam started as making fashionable bibs. The designs are vibrant, colourful and practical. As the label is about feeding attire, I have introduced burp cloth, giant bib for toddler, place mat. Other matching practical products are the change mat, nappy wallet & singlet. All fabric used are 100% cotton, both durable and gentle on the little one.
The signature of ‘mam mam’ bibs is bold bright prints with striking colours. Product is marketed for mothers who are fashion conscious, trendy, funky and who wish their baby to also represent this image rather than the traditional cutish baby orientated prints.
Majored in fashion design and work as womenswear designer. After traveling to Europe with my husband, I wondered what should I do now? Whilst completing my Master in Design, my son little Enver came along. He inspired me to start the mam mam label. He loves food and having a good time, which represents mam mam.
Nature and organic shapes inspire me the most. I also love traveling. I get inspiration from architecture and interior decoration, whether it is futuristic or vintage. I believe your designs revolve around your lifestyle.
I have a studio room at home, where I can mess up the whole room. I sew most of products in my workroom. But often, I expanded my workspace to the dining table and bedroom. Though, I try not to incorporate my work into my son’s room.
Well, HSM has genuine creative atmosphere. I can be there to inspired others but also draw inspiration from fellow artists. It’s a very friendly environment as well.
Mam mam was created at the end of 2007. So far I debuted at the HSM in 2007 and also Powerhouse’s young blood market at 2008. I keep the fabric used in my design updated.
